Environment
Environmental issues are a huge part in everyones life, we try to actively encourage to replant at least one tree or bush for every tree or bush that we remove. The cost of this will only be a few pounds per tree and we can also do the replanting at no extra cost. This will be included in every quote but will be kept seperate as it is not an essential. We also encourage to plant trees native to Scotland.
wildlife
Due to the nature of the job we do sometimes encounter wildlife on the job. If we find signs of bats or birds roosting in the trees or badger sets close by we will have to get further input before the job can be continued
Oil
As we are safety conscious about the environment we only ever use biodegradable oils for our chainsaw bars. When refueling our saws and topping up oil in our saws there is always a chance of spillages. To stop any of these potentially getting into the ground or any waterways we always fill our saws on top of oil spill pads which soak up any spillages.
Chainsaws
Currently all our chainsaws are 2 stroke and with biodegradable bar oil. As we progress we aim to use battery operated chainsaws where possible especially when working at height and on smaller trees.
